As a ‘Software as a Service’ provider, we work alongside other applications and vendors all the time, if you've got systems that are familiar and important to you, keep them and implement CEMAR alongside as part of your common data environment (CDE).
By utilising common reporting tools and bringing together all your data in the cloud, you can create and manage reporting in a way that exactly meets your needs and is capable of being evolved and defined to suit every stage of the project life cycle. This enables clients to select what’s best for them and gain the true benefit of specialist support and subject matter experts.
Implementation doesn’t have to be a big bang; align the rollout of applications to the maturity, complexity, and knowledge base of your organisation:
Data Warehousing via VPN
CEMAR hosts a secure data warehouse allowing clients to connect via dedicated VPN and gain access to all their raw data. Upon request our development and support teams will enable log-shipping of client data to the warehouse on a 24-hour recurring period. Read-only access is granted and data schemas are provided to the client. This offers complete flexibility allowing clients to access their data in a secure and effective way.
The data warehouse is provided with all the security features of the CEMAR data tier including; private dedicated Client-to-Site VPN connections, Dual Cisco ASAs configured for HA with FirePower subscriptions, stacked Cisco Catalyst switches in redundant pairs, Sophos Cloud EndPoint Protection, and Arbor Enterprise DDoS protection.
Bespoke APIs (Application Programming Interface)
CEMAR currently employs a dedicated web service built around RESTFUL and JSON technologies utilising oAuth for authorisation and authentication. The web service and all APIs are designed, built, deployed, and maintained by our in-house development team. The web service accepts requests directly from third party applications, as well as requests from client hubs. This provides a greater degree of flexibility and control over how various applications can make requests to CEMAR. Further control over frequency of requests and error handling may also be implemented.
The scope and development of this will of course greatly depend on the client’s requirements of what is expected of the system. In general, CEMAR will expect to work with the Client, through workshops and meetings, to assist with content schema that will be required by the web service, hub or third party application to perform certain functions. The CEMAR team will develop, test and deploy the API, host and make available test and UAT environments and assist with testing, monitoring and logging of test results. CEMAR will also assist in performing tests where APIs have bi-directional data transactions.
Why try and squeeze everything into a single software solution...
